Important Notes

The First Destination Survey is administered at the time of graduation to undergraduate students who have applied to graduate. Bachelor's degree recipients have up to six months after graduation to respond to the survey, and results are limited to those who earned a degree. All responses to the survey are voluntary. A copy of the survey questions is available at https://data.wisc.edu/students/first-destination-survey/.

The survey complies with National Association of Colleges and Employers standards for First Destination Surveys and meets accountability requirements set by the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents and the State of Wisconsin.

Results are tabulated based on the number of respondents, not the overall number of graduates. For employment-related results or continuing-education related results, results are limited to those students who indicated they planned to do the corresponding activity after graduation.

Responses may differ from school/college reporting where career services offices individually follow up with their students after completion of the First Destination Survey.

This is the internal version of the data visualization available to those with student/career services data access. A publicly available version is available as well.
